Barry Cook Never take other peoples word for stuff about other people, if you dont know the facts. Way to many people pass on info mainly for the purpose of fulfilling their own significance or attempts to be personally validated. Others do it for access or percieved favor. Some to try to throw a cover over there own stuff. Because you talk about people doesnt make you an expert. It makes you a weak, pathetic person or leader. It is not superior Christ - likeness. It is sub-Christian. These folks suck authority from admiring minds by being the expert on the projected faults of others. Be aware, the next generation sees thru this strutting, pea-cocking, self-righteous crap. I walked away from some contract work with Churches this summer. (Which is what I do, for a living ) Because, they made some personal comments in our conversations concerning very personal stuff of a mutual acquaintance. Another minister. Who says crap about me occasionally. Regardless, I refuse to live in this or around people who draw personal power in this manner. No, I didnt even tell them why, I just left. Remember, we dont go thru trials, struggles, betrayal, lose, heart-break or personal failures to become bitter. But to become a better person, molded into Christ image! Christ is about to blow a fresh wind into the hurt and the hungry. And they shall run like mighty stallions past the glass ceilings of past religion! Yeah!
