Battered, but her spirits are not broken. Bethany arrived at DCACC as a stray way back in December. Life is never easy for cats that live outside or get lost and Bethany is no exception. this lovely lady arrived with sores that likely resulted from bite wounds - whether she was attacked by a predator or got into a fight with another cat we dont know - but she needed our help. Like most resourceful cats, Bethany thought she could treat her own wounds so she continually licked them - making them even worse. Requiring extra medication and attention for healing, Bethany was placed in a foster home where she has been lucky enough to reside since. Bethany will probably always have some scars on her back from whatever it was that happened to her, but she is healed and ready to write the next chapter in her life. She is a darling girl that is ready for her second chance. She hopes to find a home where she will be loved and cherished and spend the remainder of her days in a safe and comfortable home - free of the risks that come with being outdoors.
