Bayern Munich have suffered the first loss under Pep Guardiola, as they were beaten 4-2 on Saturday at the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, by Borussia Dortmund in the German Super Cup. The Bavarians were in seventh heaven when they defeated Barcelona 2-0 just a few days ago, but with Guardiola missing some of his top stars, he found his fellow Germans a tougher nut to crack. Marcus Reus scored a goal in each half (6th and 86th), Ilkay Gundogan curled a beauty with 57 minutes gone, and Daniel Van Buyten scored a 56th minute own goal to complete an embarrassingly tepid defensive evening for Bayern Munich. But Arjen Robben scored twice in a 10 minute spell in the second half, to give some respect to the scoreline, as Dortmund won the first official trophy of the season in front of their fans.
