Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour. 1Pet5:8 Amplified The Apostle cautioned the Saints of their enemys plan (:8, Eph6:12). Physically, they had oppositions, and spiritually, they were being sort after like food. If Jesus wasnt well balanced and cautious, wouldnt he have fallen into the devils craftiness like Gen3:1-7? Brethren, are we well balanced, vigilant, and cautious? *Have we been caught by the trap or about to be devoured, and why should the devil have claim over us? Jh14:30 *What are we been trapped with? Fame, money, to be like God, pride, etc If we have been captured, that isnt the end, because Isa49:24-26 and 55:7 are written. Will i yield to this warning (1Pet5:8a) now? What about you? May the Lord set the captives free, help us all to be self-controlled, and alert in JESUS name. Amen
