Beautiful by Nature (more visualized through tourist eyes). The new one should be Greed by Choice TCI is a really sad place to be when you think of it. You can find a sponsor to donate thousands of dollars for un-needed events (Shows, Sending some unqualified person off island to perform a skill or talent in which they barely quailify for, Bringing in under-qualified peoples here when you have the skills here locally). There is close to 0 events where it teaches students (youths) how to do something as simple as writing or typing a job resume or how to present themselves for a job interview. There are 0 (Zero) program(s) in place ensuring that businesses both the government & private sectors are following the labour laws in terms of hiring and firing workers... Labour Board to me is just a place where you talk to deaf people. Their number one reference is the BEACHES hotel. They dont read your resume or see what qualifications or skills nor interested in the your field of interest in order to place you in the most efficient working area(s). Why are jobs looking for OLD people??? Got to say old cause theyre mostly advertising for a minimum of 5yrs experience... with no experience in that area, means you would never be able to learn the trade of that particular area. I thought thats where a probation period really was for.. At this rate, young people would never be able to work. We would constantly have an increased number of unemployed youths. TCI needs to tighten up and fast. Stop blaiming the minister cause we the very same people as a nation vote them in. Lastly.. Its sad when you have to beg for customer services almost everywhere... they greet and approach you as if you owe them something! Bare in mind, our wallets are your income. Learn some manners and show better customer service, would help you earn more and be better known as a possible favourite go to spot.
