Beauty is a questionable word at best. The idea of percieved beauty has been cause for much sorrow throughout the ages. Man has labeled that which he deems beautiful and left the rest to be discarded. I have known the feeling of being emotionally discarded in my life. This feeling sent me on a spiral that was beyond my control. I allowed this feeling to consume me and I literally assumed the role of damaged. There was no beauty in my world at this time. I had allowed another to determine my definintion of my beauty and worth. It took the most severe set of occurances for me to ever begin to place value on my world or myself. Once I began to heal, I also began to understand that beauty is as individual as a snowflake and there is no cookie-cutter definition. The beauty that resides in me is most visible when it communes with the beautiful light that resides in another human being, or any other part of nature for that matter. I adore the opportunity to share bits of myself with you who frequent my humble tea room. You make my day ever so much brighter. Thank you and know that as a people, we are the epitome of beauty...
