Because Im not Happy To all my good friends, my facebook family, I appreciate you all, thank you so much for the time spared out of your busy schedules to remember and to wish me happy on the special day of mine, you are all amazing beyond description. Permit me to take this opportunity to express my sadness, depression and total uneasiness, like every sane person around the world today I consider this year the worst year of my life, therefore my worst birthday celebration , there has never been a year like this since I was born, a year so brutal, so deprived and so troubling, in this year alone an Airplane disappeared on the busy radar being monitored with variety of national and international satellites with more than 200 people on board, this year alone more than 200 innocent girls were brutally and inhumanly kidnapped from their school without any sign of them returning to their respective homes soon, their agony, the trauma which they are definitely subjects in the hands of their abductors is beyond measure, in this year innocent woman and children are being slaughtered in the Middle East and around the world without any sign of restraint, the world, the entire human community is witnessing the most horrific, brutal and unbelievable graphic scenery like never before in the recent history filtering the news from war torn countries like Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Central Africa, Somalia, Mali, Palestine, Israel and the list go on. Various occurrences within this year has taught us some ugly lessons which I believe the world will never forget in a hurry. May I therefore state some how that this year if had not shown something different , has showed to us that our world is no longer a safe place, mankind is under siege , our cohabitation, our coexistence and all other factors that qualifies us as human being are being threatened from forces unknown, weve arrived to the most brutal, barbaric and conscienceless moment in the history of man, all these ugly events on our watch suggests nothing but the reality that no matter our efforts, no matter what we have all done to better the world, there still remains lot of things to be done, lots of mountings, valleys and Oceans awaits us eagerly demanding to be crossed, in this very moment in history, ones crime is no longer defined by the inscriptions of constitution/law but rather by color of ones skin, cultural heritage and faith of ones religion, the traditional mainstream Media which had always known for showcasing relatively human events and joyful attractions had completely diverted to fully and unimaginable destructive mechanisms. Our lives and lives of generations yet unborn are in a great danger made possible by our collective negligence to the benefits of our similarities, weve abandoned in every societies things which supposed to unite us as a people, hence focused on the things which divides us, weve adopted around the world the culture of recognizing our differences instead of our similarities, we have learnt how to blame one another rather than encouraging one another, our characters towards fellow man/woman had created between us many barriers possibly higher and magnificent than the walls we see in China and Gaza combine . These things are not supposed to be, the order of human conducts should not be manifest of discrimination, hate, fear and trebling but rather in love for the earth we are occupying and enjoying its produce and for humanity , like one of the greatest men ever walked this planet once said and I quote Let it never be said by future generations that indifference, cynicism or selfishness made us fail to live up to the ideals of humanism which the Nobel Peace Prize encapsulates. Let the strivings of us all, prove Martin Luther King Jr. to have been correct, when he said that humanity can no longer be tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war. Let the efforts of us all, prove that he was not a mere dreamer when he spoke of the beauty of genuine brotherhood and peace being more precious than diamonds or silver or gold. Let a new age dawn! Nelson Mandela . We have created many problems to ourselves and the earth we are living and I believe that by our collective efforts they can all be solved. I hope and pray that there will be no other year like this year in the future of the world and humanity in general. I pray that each and everyone, no matter our respective work, culture, religion and race would find it deeply favorable to contribute his/her own quota for the betterment of our world and humanity. Last but not least, I so much appreciate your calls, your messages, your gifts both in cash and kind beyond words, and May you be celebrated as we shall continue to celebrate one another forever with love.
