Because Ive been kind of obsessed with AC/DC lately, I was saddened to hear that founding member Malcolm Young has had to retire from music (and just about everything else) because of an onset of dementia at age 61. Malcolm was the heart and soul of the band and co-wrote almost all of the bands songs. It was his backing power chords that allowed his more energetic brother Angus to cavort on stage and give its powerhouse front men Bon Scott (dead now these 34 years) and Brian Johnson something to shout along to.
