Because we have only known about the asteroid for a short time and it has an orbit of about four years, it is difficult to predict its precise path. The asteroid will likely be near us again in 2032, but theres no need to worry. Don Yeomans, manager of NASAs Near-Earth Object Program Office at JPL has said, “The current probability of no impact in 2032 [is] about 99.998 percent. This is a relatively new discovery.
