Beef Stroganoff Serves 6 (with some leftovers) Ingredients - 2kg beef, cubed or cut into strips (a cheap cut is preferable) - 2 x tins of cream of mushroom soup - 4 cloves of garlic, crushed - 2 large onions, sliced - 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce - 10 mushrooms, sliced - 500gm of cream cheese (2 x 250gm blocks of Philadelphia or tubs of any other brand is fine) Method - Place the meat into the SC. - In a bowl, combine soup, garlic, onion, mushrooms and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well. - Pour mixture over meat in SC and stir. - Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. - 20 minutes before you are ready to serve, add cream cheese. If you are using a cream cheese block, you should cut it into cubes. It may or may not all melt - you might end up with a few blobs of cheese here and there. Serve with some mashed potatoes and veggies :)
