Been reading and trying to learn what Common Core is all about. Even the fools that created this stupidity are now admitting that it is flawed. The results of using it in our schools are that advanced students arent allowed to advance but instead are forced to sit through classes where they concentrate on the meaning of one single thing (or dumb it down) for students of lesser abilities. Common Core purposely holds back smarter students in order to get all the kids in a certain grade to the same level at the same time..... ridiculousness! If you haven’t heard of the Common Core program, it’s an education initiative funded and developed by two Washington, D.C.-based trade organizations, the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) and the National Governors Association (NGA). Another GREAT example of why politicians should stay out of the classroom.....
