Been watching House of Cards on netflix with Shelley. It is a series starring the brilliant Kevin Spacey and amazing Robin Wright as congressional whip Frank Underwood and aloof wife who, after being spurned by the president, set out to exact their revenge by destroying their enemies. It is a remarkable lense into how our political spoils system really works, the sociopathy of our political class (our new royalty), and the pervasive corruption of our Sodom and Gomorrah (D.C. and N.Y.C.). Wonderfully done. I highly, highly recommend it.
