Before I started squats again I would always do leg press first. Got my weight all the way up to 24 plates (12 each side) but now that my body is allowing squats to be a part of my life again I decide to do leg press 2nd. Changing up foot placement (wide, narrow, high and low) to make sure Im keeping my legs guessing week after week. I also have to tell myself that I cant do the same weight as I could if I were just starting off! As simple as it sounds, theres a lot of us that forget we just did an exercise prior to what we were used to doing first! And because of that we get down on ourselves thinking we should be pushing the same weight! Because its my second exercise this allows me to really have fun with weight, form, depth, and basic all around feel of what works what and where! Do yourself a favor and start making SMALL changes with your routine and Im positive youll start to notice a BIG difference in how it feels at the end of the day. Beast Sports Nutrition Bodybuilding
