Before reading any statement by Cde Mlungisi Xulu and Soviet Lekganyane you must make sure you at least have two different dictionaries next to you. Also here on facebook I have noted similar tendencies by their wannabes. Why are some comrades reluctant to writing in simple English, plain enough for everyone to understand. Are we communicating among ourselves or to the people? This tendency not only does it question their grammatical capabilities but also the sincerity of their concerns and thus simply depict them as mere attention seekers. For someone of my calibre, use of unnecessary formal diction, atrocious English and being a dictionary swallowing doll does not validate one’s intelligence but simply certifies how myopic people can be all in the name of attention. Why type a word and thereafter right-click on it with a view to find a more complex synonym.
