Before there was Ed Van Halen...there was John Du Cann (RIP, in fact, RIP to that entire Atomic Rooster line-up, I believe). Kind of an aggressive jam that is not quite psychedlic anymore yet not quite progressive rock. I wouldnt want to go back to 1971 but listening to and enjoying that music from yesteryear, time capsule stuff...makes me appreciate spirited, independent music in this day and age of corporate bulls--t entertainment, relatively speaking.
