Before you join us at The StockMKT in Bermondsey Square this coming Saturday, why not take in the Bermondsey Art Trail? To launch the Bermondsey Art Trail Map, local artists, galleries, curators and art studios in the area are throwing open their doors and inviting you to meet them. The event is free and no booking is required. Simply turn up and feel free to navigate your own way round or take advantage of the curated guided tours, where you will get the opportunity to discover some hidden gems. As part of the event, our great pals, Shortwave Cinema will be screening several short art films between 2pm-4pm. One of these films is by local artist, Richard Miller. Richards film Scratch, made in 1979, was recently transferred to digital format and was originally created by scratching and colouring directly onto the film surface. Interesting stuff...
