Before you read this status, please understand that Im not telling you what to do, Im not like that however, this is a personal blog and sometimes Im going to chat about things Ive being doing. Ive made the decision to switch to around 80%+ organic for our fresh fruit and veges (sometimes youve just got to grab some extra bananas for the week, right?). If Im honest, it is mainly for the benefit of our own health but as I read more about it Ive realised that mass farming areas that use pesticides and other chemicals in their farming practices can have a negative effect on the families and individuals living in and around these farming areas. So my choice is not just for us but to encourage a small step in the right direction for conventional farming techniques and hopefully have a greater impact long term for the communities affected by mass spraying.
