Beginning with Don Bonnell of the NEHI class of 58, now deceased, thru Carol A Bonnell, I think there was a total of 7 Bonnells that went through Northeast including the twins of Larry James and Lee Jay of the class of 1964. While not of recent, the following regards the latter, Lee Jay who put 20 years in the Air Force including service in Vietnam: St. Petersburg Times (FL) - May 26, 1990 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deceased Name: BONNELL, LEE JAY BONNELL, LEE JAY, 44, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday (May 23, 1990) in Palatka after a sudden illness. He was born in Morristown, N.J., and lived here from 1947 to 1965. He graduated from Northeast High School in 1964. He retired as a tech sergeant in the Air Force after 20 years, and had served in the Vietnam War. He was a Methodist. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Salt Springs, and the Lions Club, Eureka. Survivors include his mother, Anna May Bonnell, Fort McCoy; a sister, Carol Ann Miller, St. Petersburg; and five brothers, Donald W., Homosassa, Alan D., Ocala, and Larry J., Karl W. and Vernon H., all of St. Petersburg.
