“Behold, he is Praying’-Acts 9:11b Prayers are instantly heard in Heaven. There are no magical incantations that reach first or loudest. The instant Saul (Paul) began to Pray the Lord heard him. This should be of great comfort for any person Praying in distress. Even those times when all you can do is to fall on bended knees and utter your misery in the language of tears and sighs; yet those deep groanings make all the harps of Heaven thrill with music; that tear has been caught by God and treasured away with His hand into the lachrymatory of Heaven. Though you may only look up with misty eyes, the falling of your tears is your Prayer. I believe tears are the diamonds of Heaven and sighs are part of the music of Heaven. God not only hears our Prayers, but loves to hear our Prayers. He does not forget the cry of the humble. He cares little for upturned nose or haughty words; or of the pomp and pageantry of kings and does not respond to prideful man’s utterances, but wherever there is a heart torn in agony or a lip quivering with sorrow He certainly notices. And be comforted by this, He does not forget, His mercies run deep and His Will is always for the good of those who Love and trust Him. “Faith asks no signal from the skies, To show that prayers accepted rise, Our Priest is in his holy place, And answers from the throne of grace.” (author unknown)
