BIOGRAPHY Courtney Wallis Simpson was raised on O’Brien Avenue in Stouffville, Ontario and graduated from Orchard Park Public School and Stouffville District Secondary School. She went on to obtain her Bachelor of Arts Degree attending McMaster University and York University and then completed Graduate Work at the University of New Brunswick. Her passion has ALWAYS been Real Estate, having purchased her first house before she was 18 years old. Upon Graduation she completed the Canadian Securities Course and opened a National Child Care company; KidCare which was featured on the front page of the Business Section of the Toronto Star. Courtney was a Real Estate Broker in the area for 20 plus years founding her own Brokerage, York Region Real Estate and owning all of the Prudential Franchises in York Region. There is not a single house in Stouffville that she has not either been in, owned, or sold. Additionally, she was part time Faculty at Seneca College teaching Mortgage Underwriting and Financing. While at the University of New Brunswick she founded a daily local newspaper, Fredericton Today. In 2004 Courtney encountered a dramatic and challenging set of legal challenges and circumstances that she will openly discuss today. Although from all appearances she had lost her Career, her Company, most all of her Friends, all of her assets and even her Home, she did indeed find the strength, the fortitude and the ability to bounce back. From the heartbreaking tragedy of losing her Mother and both Maternal Grandparents all within the same year, all the while incarcerated for a Crime she did not in fact commit.. Though she is indeed most readily willing to admit and confess to the Crime she DID indeed commit.. her’s is a Journey of Courage and Strength and a transparent demonstration of the sheer Power of the WILL to Overcome. Courtney and her husband Wayne, who stood steadfastly by her side through all of her challenges, have raised 5 remarkable and successful children. They currently reside in Muskoka where they bought, revived and then sold the Muskoka Fitness Club. Courtney now owns a successful and thriving Interior Design Firm, Madeline Design, and works as a Real Estate Developer as owner of Landmark Property Developments, restoring and reviving Century Properties throughout Ontario. She is a published author and has created a new company..The CookBox which will take the Culinary World by storm. Her steadfast belief in Never Stop Believing that you can indeed walk comfortably in your own shoes, Never Stop Embracing your Struggles and to Never Stop Be Willing to Make Mistakes will in fact inspire and lighten us all. Having lost her Credibility, Reputation, Occupation, Friends, Family members and even Identity.. Courtney will explain to all of us how there is INDEED Immense Power in Faith, Friends, Positive Thinking and Knowing that you can indeed Overcome. Almost Anything. She has a message, and an apology, to deliver to the residents of Stouffville. She remains a Home Town Girl and is so very proud to be a product of Stouffville. And indeed intends on making Stouffville proud of her, Once Again.
