Being a Liberian who was born and raised in Liberia during the civil war with no ties to the MPFL, I can boldly say that Charles Taylor did nothing wrong to Liberians or Sierra Leoneans. The attrocities that were commented in these two countries were done by citizens of each country respectively. And these offenders are living freely while Mr. Taylors name is being dragged through the mud. The international community needs to stop playing blame games to satisfy their own political ambitions and get the real offender not Mr. Taylor. Speaking about the Nigerian Soldiere ( Ecomog), Trust me they committed so many attrocities against the Liberian people even though they were sent on peace keeping Mission. They killed Liberians who dated the same girls they dated, they murdered girls who cheated on them, and messlessly beat up armless Liberians. No one is off the hook here but the bottom line is that Mr. Taylor is innocent of the accusations and its about time the world knows that. The purpose of Sovereignty is to make every country independent in their decision making process regardless of economic status.
