Being a member of this group, and for those who don’t know…Filmmaker John Scott Senovich, aka “Johnno Zee”, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 in the Mercy Hospital of Springfield, MO. He was 46. Johnno was known for being an entrepreneur of filmmaking, as he did multiple jobs by himself. He wrote the book “Make Your Movie Right Now” (youtu.be/A-3lAd1GgXw), he did The Johnno Show, he was director, writer, art department, producer, actor, cinematographer, editor, (and probably more) on Redneck Carnage (2009), and writer/director for Dystopia: 2013 (2012) which on YouTube has over 1,156,830 views. He also did many other projects as well. Sadly, I only knew him from online, and regret that I never got to meet him in person. I thought that I did, but from everything that I’ve heard, I know that would have remembered meeting such an overall incredible guy. His encouragement and devotion to filmmaking, actors, filmmakers, friends and family throughout the community is well known, and will be remembered.
