Being married is not an excuse for letting yourself deteriorate - TopicsExpress

Being married is not an excuse for letting yourself deteriorate physically. The human body is a wonderful creation & God?s great gift to us. We have a divine responsibility to take care of our bodies by eating healthy, drinking pure water, sleeping healthy, exercising & bathing daily. Yes, aging is a natural phenomenon but we don?t have to accelerate it. You don?t have to look older than you really are. There are modest techniques that can enhance your physical health & beauty. If you take care of your body it will take care of you. It is not a sin to look beautiful. God made you beautiful for a reason. Every curve, every dimple, every smile & every muscle was artistically designed by God to showcase His creative ability. You carry the image of God. (Gen 1:27) “You are fearfully & wonderfully made.” (Psalm 139:14) Not only should you “adorn the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle & quiet spirit, which in Gods sight is very precious, (1 Peter 3:4) you must do our best to stay in shape & look your best, because “your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.” 1 Cor 6:19-2. Not only will this honor God, it will enhance your confidence & revolutionize your marriage.
