Being overdue is really rough (those who know can feel me on this). All I want is to lay down in a comfortable spot and feel pretty. I attempted this (laying down), only to realize I was covered in poop. My son pooped in my spot. And on me. All over. I put my poopy son in the bath and grabbed my phone to rant about my stinky, chubby self on Facebook (which is obviously going to make me feel better) and its covered in beans. The whole phone. Like it was dipped in beans. This is the real shit. Hashtag parenthood. Please, keep your motivating, positive, uplifting, and totally helpful comments to yourself for this particular post. Right now, I am metal. So metal in my mothering that from now until my precious angel arrives it is going to be all black nail polish and Rage Against The Machine and power walking for me. (Power walking is not normally considered metal, I know, but go with me on this.)
