Being the perverse sort that I am, Im going to share stuff I am NOT grateful for! Here are the first three.... 1. I am definitely not grateful for the nest of yellow jackets that stealthily moved into the small pile of hay left at the end of my vegetable garden for mulch....and who took violent exception to my standing 5 from their hidden nest and came roaring out at me (and poor Eli) and stung both of us twice as we were running away. 2. I am totally not grateful for the damn burdocks and thistles which re-appear every year in the horse pastures despite being whacked down the previous year. 3. It downright sucks that 3 winter months (Jan-Feb-Mar) absolutely crawl by, seeming twice as long as they actually are, and 3 summer months (Jun-Jul-Aug) are over in the blink of an eye.
