Belgium: Always arguing Belgium must be one of the most interesting little countries in the world. Belgians never seem to stop arguing with each other. The entire population is only about 11 million. There are cities in the world more than twice that big, yet Belgium always seems on the verge of going fissile. And trying to understand Belgian politics is like trying to understand cricket. They always are in the news, but through the years I have finally said forget it. I will not understand Belgium. I have come to the conclusion that even Belgians do not understand Belgium.
