Belief & Lacking Answers Ive just spent few minutes reading this article and working through the emotions that it elicits. Its heart-breaking, confusing and ultimately leads to important questions; albeit some that lack easy answers. Whilst many Christ-followers would have immediate opinions, I will my thoughts at this - Im challenged by how compassionate Jesus was to the broken and hurting. The beauty of Jesus love - and the difference in His salvation from any other religion - is that He invited the outcasts, rebellious and critics with open arms, not seeking change before He graciously offered powerful love. Im continually challenged to love people in the midst of their mess, not because I have anything to offer, but simply because Jesus has always been so patient, gracious and loving with me in the middle of mine. The gospel is foolishness to those who are perishing, but how beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news. Lets bring good news with all condemnation, regulation and law set aside. Grace is a powerful thing. May we believe in people, no matter what theyre position in life, because the truth is, as Christ-followers we have access to the greatest hope and peace that exists, and we have the honor of sharing it with people who feel unwelcome in the only place they will find their hope. All because theres no better experience than to see the light in someones eyes when they meet Jesus for the first time.
