Bella Baby - Message from Leeanne Well, look at this gorgeous young pud! Arrived safe and sound thanks to the wonderful delivery team of Jackie and Andy xxx. She is delicious, and we adore her already x Well everyone, I think most of you have seen the Phoenix appeals for this little treasure, Bella. 1 to 2 year-old Female Labrador Cross. She is suffering from demodectic manage, a skin condition caused by parasitic mites. Most dogs are immune to demodectic mange, but pups can catch it from the mother, which is most likely what happened here, in which case a full cure is possible. As no one suitable has come forward we felt it only right, with the wonderful bathing facilities we now have at Twilight ... to help this little princess have a chance at life. Phoenix will fund her as a foster here, so if you feel compelled to help with her extensive medication please donate to Phoenix direct. Leeanne and Mike will treat her with the love and care they do the oldies until she is well enough to hopefully move to a new home ... all normal, hairy and full of loving beans! These pictures show her within just 5 minutes of arriving here. She is loving and full of puppy bounce. Her skin is hot, she is scratching and nibbling as you can see. She has several open wounds, and her bits and pieces look jolly sore. She has already commenced treatment from the SPA and is apparently showing signs of improvement. Tomorrow morn she will see our vet and we can confirm the way forward. Tucking in to her supper with her new daddy as I write ... no issues there! Bella will soon be the bell of the ball we are sure. Delighted to have her join the Twilight puddings during this recoup phase of her little life.
