Bench Pressing is demonized by many Strength Coaches, but its wrong to say a certain exercise is bad! Any exercise can be bad or performed incorrectly (too much load, too many sets, too many reps, poor technique, improper progressions, etc) - Bench Pressing could be bad for someone with shoulder issues, but over all theyre a safe and very effective strength and size building exercise IF performed correctly…. Check out Adam Avraham banging out 225 for reps after recovering from his hand injury during his football season.
