Bernadeth is a high school student from Philippine School for the Blind. She is also one of the dancers who thrilled the audience with tinikling, ball room dances and modem dances. Amazing how our blind youth are now changing the way the public look at our blind people with the help of our committed teachers and parents who are now molding them to be the best of what they can be. Nowadays blind people are mostly employed in decent massage clinics in the malls, as call center agents, in government offices and as entrepreneurs. With the modern technology access to information helps them to get better opportunities. But we have a long way to go to make services more accessible for them. We need to make government policies and programs sensitive to the needs of persons with disabilities. Watch this video and be proud of our achievements...
