**Best App of 2013**- Build-it-up- By MyFirstApp- ($0) I love this app! It is my go to app for kids with dyspraxia or difficulty with motor planning. I use it to rehearse the sequence of a stacker without all the extraneous demands of finding the pieces, handling the pieces, and/or having someone telling you or moving you to do this and that. Once they have mastered it on the iPad, I then bring out a real life stacker. It has really cut through a lot of anxiety as kids already have a sense of what is expected and achieve mastery of the real life counter part much more quickly. It does have an in app purchase to unlock levels – two are included for free. Playing with this app has also given me a sense of a child’s body awareness, and how grounded they are, as it has a few human and animal forms.
