Best till last. DESSERT:) MY favourite Rasmalai. Its cheese balls simmered in sugar syrup then cooled. it is then placed in a reduced milk which has Cardamom & Saffron. A platter of assorted Indian Sweets which I bought at the Indian grocer yesterday. What is Diwali with out lights? Sugar and spices help aid digestion from a heavy meal. Hence why at an Indian restaurant after you pay the bill you will get tiny sugar coated whole spices. Chai is made with whole spices, this also aids digestion.
