Betty update: tonight while feeding horses (shes a big helper) I looked down and see her eye ball rolled into head and kind of detached. I had a mini heart attack folks. Tossed feed buckets in the air, took off running for my phone to call a vet, pleaded with them they said no, called another vet and thankfully was able to rush her there. Thankfully it was nothing serious and it appears she was either bit by something or poked her eye with something. Either way its ugly. We came home with eye cream, Benadryl and steroid shots. The Princess is supposed to sleep inside a couple days and of course the dog whisperer rescheduled. Ugh. Really??!! Shes actually being an angel so far so fingers crossed she looks and feels better in AM. Sleeping next to my poster bed. Hoping I wake up with no posts chewed off. Id die if this were a little human hurt. Good for you parents! Im not cut out for it. I dont freak with horses but this dog is my pal. Shes different.
