Beware of this Skimmer:- This cute little device is called "Skimmer" which can suck all the information encrypted in your credit/debit card once swiped. It has become a fashion to carry a light purse full of credit and debit cards when you go out for shopping. Its just a matter of swiping your card after your shopping. But be careful, if you are a bit casual the very next day your account will be completely swept.. The data read from this device can be dubbed into a new card using an associated writer and thus a clone for your card takes birth at some place in this world.. These frauds will shop with the cloned card and you will be charged for their shopping because the info present in the cloned card belongs to your account. These kind of devices were already smuggled to India and are in Use in some parts of the country (especially Hyderabad). So when you are using your card to complete your payment at shopping malls or petrol bunks (especially) keep an eye on the swiping machine. If you find any sort of devices as attached below other than a swiping machine inform police. Using these device is illegal in India and personnel caught using this can be subjected to 7 years imprisonment..Be careful and responsible..
