Beware the malicious “Facebook Color Changer” app, which claims to alter the color of the standard Facebook profile. There is a vulnerability in Facebook’s app page that allows hackers to redirect users to a phishing site. If the user clicks links or downloads something from this site, the hacker can access parts of the users’ profile. If you have already been infected, immediately change your password through settings > general tab > click to edit password. To remove the app, go to settings > apps tab and click the x to remove the malicious application. #malicious #colorchangerapp #app #phishing #malware
