Big News: Wine on High is changing ownership After 5+ years of running Wine on High, I have decided it is time to move to new adventures. My wife Becca and I are relocating back to New York City to be closer to family. While we are truly sad to leave the amazing Columbus community, we are very much looking forward to what is to come. With that said, we could not leave without thanking you all – our amazing, supportive, inquisitive, sophisticated customer base. Our business is a success because of you! It has been humbling to get to know you all and we cannot thank you enough for your wine purchases, your attendance at Gallery Hops, 20 for $20s, private tastings, special events and more! To learn and grow with you all has been an absolutely incredible experience, both personally and professionally and I will be forever grateful. Wine On High’s new owner plans to be just as involved and vested in this business as I was. I’d like to personally introduce you to Sheila Trautner, owner of the Taste Hospitality Group. Many of you may know Sheila as she is also the owner of Wine On High’s neighbor, Hubbard Grille as well as several other businesses in the Columbus area including Mezzo Dublin, Taste Catering, The Venue at Corazón, and Creekside Conference & Event Center. Sheila shared with us that she and the rest of her team are truly excited to welcome Wine On High into the Taste Hospitality family of brands, which encompasses the values of high quality, creativity and hospitality. More importantly, it is a brand that supports and is supported by the local community at large. We hope that you will join us in welcoming Sheila and her team as the new owners of Wine On High during a special Open House Happy Hour on Friday, September 13th from 5-8pm. We are excited for this new era and the innovation and passion they will bring to the space and we hope you will remain loyal patrons of Wine on High and be on hand to witness the evolution of the space and the business. We certainly plan to visit as often and we can and look forward to meeting you for a drink at Wine on High when we do!
