Big day out in my awesome office under a shiny blue sky. Amee mastered trotting with a rider, though not before telling me, Amee-style that I was an idiot because she was walking as fast as she could. It was quite a relief for both of us when she realised that she has more than one gear :) Bailey came home from the agistment paddock and after being bullied by the horses there, seemed incredibly relieved to back with his gang, getting straight down to a mutual grooming session with three different horses, one after the other. He was first at the gate when it was time to go back into the yard for the night and I reckon if horses could smile, he would have a chesire grin :) I had lovely rides on Whinnie, KT and Ruby with all three coming along nicely. After such a lovely day, we made a very sad discovery- one of the thoroughbred broodmares had died. There wasnt a mark on her and shed been in apparent good health yesterday. No sign of what might happened, but very sad all the same.
