Bin Laden Son-in-Law Found Guilty Osama bin Ladens son-in-law was found guilty of conspiring to kill Americans today, ending a landmark terror trial in New York City. Sulaiman Abu Ghaith now faces up to life in prison for serving as al-Qaedas spokesperson in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, the AP reports. The Kuwaiti cleric, captured in Jordan last year, is the highest-ranking al-Qaeda figure to be tried on US soil since those attacks. In one video shown at his trial, Abu Ghaith said al-Qaeda would rain an endless storm of airplanes on the US.
