Bipartisanship doesnt always look that exciting. Sometimes you forget what it looks like in Congress. But today, working with Congressman Mark Amodei, we were able to pass a Nevada lands bill that will create jobs and protect the environment in our state. This legislative package includes the Yerington Jobs Bill I have been working to move. The committee approved the bill by unanimous consent. With that level of agreement, I am optimistic that we can get this done, grow the economy in Nevada, and safeguard our environment. It has been a refreshing day of bipartisan progress because both parties put Nevadans first. That should be our priority every day.
