Birthday Reflections: 21 years old today.. What a blessing. The Grace of God has touched my life in more ways than I could EVER explain. Just a few short years ago, I was in such dark place (many of you knew me when I was at that point).. I felt alone & like my life had no direction. I was lost and even tried taking my own life because I honestly couldnt see the light at the end of the tunnel. A few days before my 17th birthday, I remember going into my room and CRYING out to God in complete desperation for a change. From that day, my prayers were answered. I look back over the last few years and I see His hand in EVERY LITTLE DETAIL. I moved to Breaux Bridge, rode a bike to McDonalds every day, lived in a decrepit apartment(the things I thought were so hard at the time were really just learning lessons that I wouldnt trade for anything), met Jase, had our SON, got an amazing job and a beautiful apartment, got promoted, got married, and NOW expecting our second baby!! The Lord just continues to pour his blessings out in my life..Sometimes I cant BELIEVE that a person like ME can wake up every day to such a BEAUTIFUL life!!! It brings tears to my eyes to reflect on how blessed I truly am.. I have no regrets, no shame. Today, I live a life I never dreamed I would have and I give all the glory to God.
