Bit of a blaze happening at Warrimoo at present. Its about 2 or 3 km from us as the crow flies. From what I can gather, its in the gully behind The old Westward Ho in Florabella Pass. We have heard that The Great Western highway has just been closed, and the trains have been stopped at Glenbrook and Springwood. There are 5 helicopters hitting it and one of them is the sky crane, Ichabod and there are are a ton of fireys there as well. Its 40 degrees here but the wind is nothing so at present we are OK, but I know a lady in Warrimoo near the school who is on alert to go. Apparently there is a southerly due to hit about 10 or 11 pm tonight so well see what happens when that hits. Keep you posted as I hear things.
