Bittersweet day today, thanks to the best Realtor in Johnston County Rose Hammond of Roses Realty, Inc. my siblings and I just closed on our parents home in Smithfield. They moved in in 1968 and lived there until they passed away (my Dad in 1991 my Mom in 2013) I lived there from the time I was brought home from the hospital until the time I moved out for good after college. Have been there for Christmas Day my whole life until last year. Lots of memories there. But as they say, you cant go home again. Glad that we are finished with all the things that have gone into handling our Moms estate. Hope the new family has many good years there. Moving on is seldom a fun thing, but Ive got it to do
