Black Bobby Sparrow (smithy) The heartbreaking moment has come that I have to sell my pony in a million, 143cm LHC, 9yr old, Connemara Gelding. Ashfield Bobby Sparrow Gelding x Black Cherry (Gentian Rebel Tim) This pony is one of the most consitant ponies on the circuit being unbeaten nearly everytime out, He is a true gentleman inside and out of the stable and never puts a foot wrong.Stands to be trimmed, clipped and groomed for hours upon end. I have had the most fantastic 3 seasons on smithy after being lightly shown in his first season as a 6 old he always was in the top 3, including 3rd IPS Summer Championships as a 143 SHP and 1st and Reserve Champion Show Hunter Tullamore 2011 As a 7yr old he then began his working hunter career, at his first show as a WHP he was 2nd in the 143cm WHP Final at Northern Ireland Festival jumping only 1 of 3 clears, he was also 2nd in the M&M WHP final at the same show again jumping 1 of 3 clears and behaved faultlessly in both evening performances. He was 1st and Champion Novice WHP Tattersals 2012, He won the Novice 143 WHP at IPS summer championships and the Novice 143 WHP of the year in 2012. 2013 was to be his year when he was 4th 143cn WHP qualifier for the RIHS in Cavan (highest placed pole and it was my fault) he jumped one of the best rounds anyone has ever seen him do! He then went on to be 1st and Reserve Champion Performance at Spring Spectacular, two weeks later he returned to Cavan for the Northern Ireland Festival and won the Festival 143cm WHP one better than the previous year and yet again jumping 1 of 4 clears of the class! He was then mr.consistent and was 2nd yet again in the M&M WHP Final. He was also a winner of SHow Hunter and Championships this season, he then won 143 WHP in Gorey Show and Champion with as the judge described A textbook round The highlight of our year was a trip to The Scottish Horse Show where he won the Underwood HOYS 143cm WHP qualifing him for HOYS with 1 of only 2 clears in the class, winning by 4 marks, he was also reserve champion HOYS WHP, we then kept him for Dublin where yet again! Mr.Consitent jumped 1 of only 2 clear rounds and won the 143cm WHP and Reserve Champion WHP of the show. This pony is my top man and words could never describe how heartbreaking this is for our family but I am simply growing too quickly for as long as we would like to keep him. If I could keep him for another year he would not be going anywhere!! He competes side saddle, he hunts, showjumps, and loves cross country, the aim was to event next season but my legs will not allow. He did pony club with the ward union for 2yrs and hunted all last season with the ward union and fingal harriers, there is nothing this pony wont do! He has faultless conformation, and is a gentleman in every single way, he is a pony in a million and any child would be lucky to have him. He is not a novice ride but is never bold or naughty.
