Blankets Needed: Dear FB Friends, As the leaves begin to turn colors, The Dressing Room, operated by Federated Charities begins collecting new and clean gently used blankets. The organization began this program 6 years ago to help less fortunate families and individuals in our community stay warm in the winter. The Dressing Room, located in “The Neighborhood” at 2516 Carter Ave. in Ashland is Ashland’s community clothing closet, providing assistance to our neighbors in need. The Dressing Room offers free clothing, blankets, & Prom Dresses to anyone in our area who needs a little help. A local non-profit organization, we depend on our community to help us provide these services. With only a few employees, the organization depends on volunteers to operate and the community to donate the items for us to give away. We depend on our neighbors to help us help our neighbors. If you can help by donating a new or clean gently used blanket to help a neighbor, please bring your donation by our location (loading dock side of the building) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
