Blood donation camp organized at SKIMS Soura Srinagar, July 24: To promote communal harmony, amity and brotherhood besides hospitality of the people of Kashmir, Blood Donation Camp was organized to save the precious lives of Shri Amarnathji Yatries who were injured in a road accident. The Blood Donation Camp was jointly organized by district administration, Srinagar and SKIMS, Soura at Auditorium Hall here today. A large number of volunteers donated blood on the occasion. Among others, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Mr. Farooq Ahmad Shah and Director SKIMS, Dr. Showkat Ali Zargar besides Faculty Members and para medicos of the Institute attended the camp. Mr. Shah speaking on the occasion lauded the volunteers for donating the blood to save the lives of those injured in accidents. He also urged to keep up the values of brotherhood for which the people of Kashmir are known for centuries all over the world.
