Blue Hill Observatory (elevation 635 ft) in Milton, MA reporting snow accumulation of 1.6 today. Its easier for snow to stick to the ground at higher elevations. The remainder of southeast New England will see rain/snow showers into the afternoon, with some minor snow accumulation, especially on grass and tops of cars, as temperatures hover in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Precipitation amounts for the remainder of the day will be less than a tenth of an inch, with a mix of rain/snow. Winds will remain gusty all day and through tonight, with N/NE winds gusting between 40 and 60 mph (highest on E MA Coast, Cape/Islands).
