Bluesfest day 2. A bit of rain slowed things down a bit but once it got started there was some great music. UK acoustic rocker Frank Turner blew the crowd away with his energetic and hook-filled songs. I wanted to see this guy for years and he fully delivered. LA band Dawes were superb in their second trip to Bluesfest. Their front-man is an excellent songwriter and guitar player and the sound mix was perfect. She & Him finished up on the River stage. Mike Ward and Zooey Deschanel delivered a crowd pleasing set of summer pop.
