Board of Ed candidates dont file till June. As these filings happen there will be announcements. As to the BOCC candidates, well their filing window has closed. We already know those candidates. Check page two of this document below. NO DEMOCRATS. I REPEAT... NO DEMOCRATS filed for the BOCC this year. So if you are registered as a Democrat you have ZERO say in which of these many candidates end up on the ballot in November as you will not be allowed to vote in the primary. You have to change your affiliation to UNAFFILIATED in order to be allowed to vote in the primary and have a say in who ends up on the ballot. The deadline for doing this is APRIL 11th. It is VITAL that we elect a threesome to the Board of Commissioners. That is the ONLY way to ensure that we have the MAJORITY vote of the 5 person board. There are 3 seats up. We must elect THREE who are like minded and will work together! We cant afford to have even 1 person sneak in who may not be of the Majority.
