Here is a short video I did with my cheap macro lens. This is rendered at a low resolution to save space however it will show you what the T5i can do. I also did a crop with the video software. This is the same video shown twice first as is and then with the computer generated crop and camera movement. This camera amazes me every time I use it. I got this shot by putting the camera on a tripod then leaning it against the Oak tree where the moss is growing. I used the digital zoom to set focus. Bear in mind the digital zoom on the T5i is for focusing only you are still shooting through the lens with no digital enhancement to the zoom. The digital zoom in this case magnifies what you are shooting at up to 10 times so you can be sure you have a sharp focus.
