Bobby Jasoos: Vidya Balan burns the screen with her magnetic acting abilities and spot-on Hyderabadi Hindi. Ali, the Fukrey star and the stellar supporting cast including Kiran Kumar, who is back after more than 10 years, are in fine form. The letdown is the script which brings in inexplicable plot twists and a simplistic ending, which is unbelievable and does not gel with the rest of the story. The songs are hum-dry and monotonous. The screenplay and the acting though shine throughout, as Vidya manages to get the audience smile and chuckle with her marvellous expressions and great body-language. Her attire and 12 make-overs are fantastic, since she manages to be believable in each one of them. Some scenes are hilarious and some do possess emotion, but in the overall context, it is all hokum. Vidya was superlative in this otherwise average flick. Watch it for Vidya and the acting of the ensemble cast only. Rating: 7/10
